A very warm welcome to the new blog page for the University’s Technology Enabled Learning and Teaching Team.
Based within the Learning and Information Service, the TELT team are responsible for the investigation, evaluation and implementation of new and emerging learning technologies. Working closely with the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and academic colleagues from across the faculties to enable, support and promote digitally enhanced approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.
The new Learning & Teaching Strategy provides focus and direction for the work of the team and offers a number of exciting opportunities to innovate and inspire the development of academic practice. The TELT and CELT teams will continue to explore the relationship and deeper integration of pedagogy and technology to positively impact staff and student teaching and learning experiences.
The blog provides an opportunity to raise the external profile of the University, communicate with potential collaborators and share with colleagues the ongoing digital developments across the University and the positive impact this is having on student attainment.
The team aim to update this page weekly with examples of great practice and news around emerging technologies currently under investigation.
Have a read and check back regularly and why not comment on the posts and share a digital approach that has made a difference to your teaching practice?
